Linda Paterson
Rebuild Zone Tour co-host,
CERA, Visits and Relations Advisor
Christchurch City Council
Linda left Taranaki for Christchurch and
joined many of her Ministry of Social Development colleagues to help in the immediate response after the 22 February 2011 earthquake. She worked in the Emergency Operations Centre and MSD’s regional office before joining the Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority (CERA) in June 2011. She initially worked in the media team and has worked for a year as Visits and Relations Advisor, co-ordinating visits for people and organisations coming to Canterbury to discuss earthquake recovery, the rebuild and opportunities the future holds in Christchurch.
Rebuild Zone Tour
The Rebuild Zone tour of central Christchurch will cover what we’ve found out about the impacts of the earthquakes on the city and its people, looking at the locations of the Anchor Projects under the Christchurch Central Recovery Plan and seeing the opportunities for the future. It will include the CBD and some of the residential red zone and will give a glimpse of the size and scale of the work being done in the city.
Michael Flatman is also a host for the Rebuild Zone Tour. Click here for more details.
