Hamish Clark is a senior reporter and presenter for 3 News.
Hamish has over 15 years experience in television and has been at the forefront of some major local and international news events – including the Fiji cyclone, Christchurch earthquake, and Pike River Mine disaster.
Previously Hamish has covered the aftermath of 9/11 terrorist attacks in New York in 2001, the Academy Awards when Sir Peter Jackson won three Oscars in 2002, the Sydney Rugby World Cup in 2003, and the funeral of Pope John II in Rome in 2005. Hamish has worked on numerous programmes including One Network News, Holmes, Sunday, Close Up, Campbell Live, and 3 News.
During his career Hamish has won several awards, and in 2011 won ‘Reporter of the Year’ and ‘Journalist of the Year’ for coverage of the Christchurch earthquake.
